Ace Combat 6 Demo Nets Half a Million Downloads in First Week

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation’s demo was the #1 most downloaded piece of Xbox Live content during E3

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. proudly announced today that the highly-anticipated Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation online demo debuted as the #1 downloadable demo on Xbox LIVE® during Microsoft’s “E3: Bringing it Home” Experience. With over half a million downloads in its first week, the first playable demo was a high-flying success for the upcoming flight-action game which will launch on October 23, 2007 for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

From its breathtaking graphics to intense and dynamic gameplay, the newest chapter in the beloved Ace Combat franchise made a huge impression at E3 with fans and gaming press alike. After showing off an updated playable to press at the business summit, gaming press shared their excitement for the title with highly positive feedback in their updated previews.
